companies immeasurable holdings in the US.

On December.10, 2004, Ameriquest Mortgage Company stated their plans to open a 25,000 square foot facility within Douglas County, Colorado. The new data center will create more than 125 technology-related jobs, as well as, offer the area the aesthetic benefits of a new state-of the art facility.

Upon completion, this new data center, the third for the company and its first beyond California state lines, will house Ameriquest and its affiliates of Argent Mortgage Company, as well as, AMC Mortgage Services which supports both Ameriquest and Argent’s activities.

Adam Bass, senior executive vice president of Ameriquest Mortgage Company said that they have selected Colorado as the site of their data facility because it offered access to an incredibly skilled work force of engineers, network professional, systems analystas and IT operators. Plus, as the state of Colorado is considered within the central portion of the US, it can serve as a mid-point for national growth.

In turn, Brian Vogt, director of Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade relayed that he saw this development as paramount for the growth of jobs within the state and for a future relationship with Ameriquest as they continue to grow in leaps and bounds.

At the present time, Ameriquest now has approximately 200 local employees emanating from its five branch offices located in: Colorado Springs, Denver, Fort Collins, Greenwood Village and Westminster.

Many from the Douglas and South Metro Denver Business communities were excited about the possibilities presented by Ameriquest’s arrival to the area, the favorable impact it would have upon the economy and the positive message it would send to companies seeking to come to the area in the future. Colorado officials and business development executives also expressed their hope for the longevity of Ameriquest’s occupancy.
