Applying for Your Mortgage
Once you have decided you need a home mortgage, whether it
is your first or second, Wells Fargo makes the application
process convenient and easy for you! Not only can you visit
a nearby branch or call a toll free number, you can even apply
with a few simple steps online! Once you have completed your
application, leave it to the experts at Wells Fargo to process
your application with advanced technology and services.
If you apply online with Wells Fargo, you will receive a
loan decision more quickly than with the other application
options. You will give your property information along with
your financial and loan data which will only take approximately
30 minutes to complete. You may start the application and
finish it later in the event that you are distracted or interrupted
before completion.
If you apply in person or over the phone with Wells Fargo,
you will make sure that your information is given directly
to a representative who will then quickly and efficiently
process your application. The consultant will help you with
the process and explain and guide you through the application.
The professional assisting you will take care of filling out
the application for you according to your answers, as opposed
to you being on your own when you complete the online application.
For current customers using the refinance application online,
you will enter your first mortgage information to receive
home equity recommendations or suggestions, and you will be
referred to a Wells Fargo representative to assist you further
with your second home loan application. Your information will
be reviewed in a timely manner and you will be on your way
to an encouraging, long-term investment.
Before you visit Wells Fargo or apply online or by phone,
you will want to have some things prepared to expedite the
application process. You will need to have your social security
number, your email address, gross income amount and/or secondary
income sources, current expenses including other loans or
credit balances, any debt you have incurred at any time, previous
addressed within the last several years, contact information
of your last few employers, an estimated purchase price of
your new home, the loan amount if you are refinancing, and
the amount you plan to use as a down payment.
Usually you will need some supporting documents for a few
of the application requirements such as bank statements and
receipts or payment stubs. You will want to make a copy for
yourself or have the Wells Fargo rep give you one, and one
copy will need to be signed and returned to Wells Fargo for
your application to be processed and reviewed. |
